Artist Statement

My interests lie deeply in the exercise of observation. The subject matter of my work revolves around socioeconomics, politics, geopolitics, the human experience, and technology. I funnel these concerns through research—whether through documentaries, books, publications, or any source material I find relevant from all ideological spectrums on a daily basis. The way I express all this information and my own reflections is through painting and drawing, which, I believe, are timeless and uniquely precious human mediums of expression. Thankfully, these forms are now more accessible than ever, a democratization that reassures me in my passion for art, as well as the collective and individual power of painting.

Stylistically, I draw inspiration from countless sources, constantly evolving my own voice as I encounter new ideas and images. I view this ongoing evolution as essential, especially in today's rapidly changing, internet-driven world. This fluidity allows me to keep pace with how I observe and interpret socio-political shifts, technological advancements, and human experiences, reflecting them through my art. Painting, for me, is not only an expressive outlet but also a vital tool for processing and communicating the world around me, while embracing the continuous evolution of both myself and my work.
